  • Coir Pots which are made of coir, provide natural and breathable environment for roots. They enhance the beauty of your garden with their raw and textured look. Coir Pots are available in sizes of 6” and 8” diameter and 10” diameter hanging basket liner. Metal stands and hanger for same are also available.
  • Coir Pots are made from the waste material of coconut in form of coir which makes it very eco-friendly. The raw material being organic, resulted product is completely biodegradable which makes Coir Pots a great choice against conventional concrete, ceramic, terracotta or plastic containers. Unlike traditional terracotta pots, Coir Pots are very lightweight and do not create color stains after watering. Also, by having the property to biodegrade, the plant can be directly planted into the soil while being planted in the COIR POT, which prevents plant from the shock and increases chances of healthy plant growth.
  • Air pruning is also made possible due to usage of Coir Pots. Air pruning happens naturally when roots are exposed to air in the absence of high humidity.  The roots are effectively “burned” off, causing the plant to constantly produce new and healthy branching roots. If roots are not exposed to air (which happens in all plastic, ceramic containers), they continue to grow around the container in a constricted pattern.  The roots may spiral, twist, kink or become strangled.  When the plant is later installed it will likely fail to establish a normal root structure, and instead will have reduced uptake of water and nutrients.  Eventually abnormal growth should be obvious and could cause the plant to fail.  Damaged root systems also cause leaves to turn yellow or brown, shrivel or drop.  Healthy, highly branched root structures allow a plant to more efficiently uptake water and nutrients while increasing growth and overall plant health.  A strong root system will make a plant better able to establish itself when installed in a restoration project. Unlike traditional terracotta pots, Coir Pots are very lightweight and do not create color stains after watering.
